''OEG'' Red Dot Sight. ''Single Point''.

One of the first red dot sights and made famous by the 1970's raid by American forces during the ''SON TAY'' prison raid in north Vietnam. Some great photos of the raid members using the sight on there automatics. This is a non powered system with a glow orange prism illuminated by ambient light. Took me a while to work it out as with one eye shut and looking through you see a black circle with a red dot but opening both eyes gives the optical illusion of the dot on target. Neat bit of kit and perfect for your SOF display, reenacting or collection. Apparently these where used by British forces in the 70's as a private purchase item. As for condition, its been used and mounted, slight scuffing to the plastic head but does not interfere with the vision and i may add that this example has the rounded plastic head used by SOF and not the cone version. And as an extra bonus if your into Star Wars these ''Single Point's' 'where massively purchased in the late 70s , used on certain weapons during the production.
