WW2 British Army Netted MKII Steel Helmet. 1943.

Helmet shell has a very nice mid war rough green finish, inside and out, id rate the finish as close to 95% with most wear to the outer edge. Net is complete with a small break were its run across the top nut over time. The inside 1943 dated liner is complete but dry having been damaged, torn, to certain areas along the front, in my opinion its the period liner and always been with the shell. Chinstrap is clean,complete and in supple condition. With the mid war finish any other markings stamped to the shell cannot be made out. Its my belief that this helmet and net are untouched and makes a very nice example that would fit any European invasion display.
