1939 Iron Cross 1st Class Screw Back, Schinkel Form.

A very nice example vaulted cross with the copper coated core having close to 95% of its factory finish, some rubbing to the swastika and lover numbers. This finish will clean up even better with a slight wipe with a cotton bud as i have not cleaned since purchasing. The frame has again close to 95% finish with some rubbing to the frame tips. The back has close to 95% finish as does the clamshell back plate. I believe this cross was manufactured by the firm Deumer?
