British Paratroopers Helmet.

The shell has close to 100% of its rough dark brown finish with just a slight splash of what looks like emulsion paint. All three outside screw heads have a good amount of there dark finish as well. Inside of the shell again close to 100% finish, some paint loss to the outer rim. The liner system is a postwar example dated 1965, made by CCL and sized 7 and a quater. The padding has suffered from some heat damage, likely kept close to a heat source such as radiator or window during summer, no evidence of fire damage etc. No top pad to the inside crown. The webbed chinstrap system is complete and clean with a complete chin cup. I myself think the outer shell might well be a WW2 example but that's me, please make your own mind up before purchasing folks!
