Wehrpass and Award Certificates, Grenadier Regiment 57, KIA Russian Front.

Wehrpass is in good complete condition with full details on this trained medic who lost his life fighting in Russia in 1944. During his time in Russia he had been wounded three times, the last wound by grenade splinter killed him. Found in the back of the book are three award certificates, Iron cross second class, infantry assault in silver and a silver wound badge. Also found was a large death card. Nice group to a lad who saw a lot of action.
