West German Experimental Paratrooper Helmet.

The outside shell has close to 100% of its factory blue grey finish as do the 2nd pattern liner bolts, slight knock to the top.The inside liner system is very clean and supple including a complete chinstrap, liner has a size stamp 58, the only markings found. The production run apparently was from 1955 to 61 the style being based on the WW2 German para lids. Around 2400 where produced, in 61 they were abandoned in favor of the M71. Nice scarce helmet with limited production.
