British 1907 Pattern Bayonet. Chapman, 1918. RAOC.
Blade is clean with minimal staining, clear details to either side under the cross guard. Cutting edge has some tiny knocks from being played with, hard to notice and an easy clean with a sharpening stone if wishing. The steel hilt again clean with a clear stamping to one side of the pommel for the R.A.O.C. and Rifle number 36. Both wooden slab grips have some dark staining and minimal bruising, both fixing screws have been over tightened for some reason. The leather scabbard is supple with tight rear stitching, faint stamps can just be made out. Both metal mounts have full finish and the 37 pattern frog is in very nice clean condition.
