Boxed British Heavy Duty Respirator. 1939.

Still found in its period cardboard box is this super condition 1939 dated respirator including a 1941 dated cloth cleaning tin. A number of years ago a local police station was being demolished in the Cardiff area when the workmen found a large number of these unissued boxed gas masks, i was lucky to be able to purchase quite a few. I thought i had sold all of them but from time to time going through my boxes one turns up. I may add that the opened boxes, some where sealed, all had 41 dated tins with 39 dated masks.
