WW1 German P.08 Luger Holster. 1916. Cardiff.
The holster has supple leather with no weakness, stitching is tight, inside leather strap to lift the pistol has gone. The back has what looks like German style initials scratched to the leather. Inside has a clear 1916 date and makers details with what looks like the British soldiers name and number in pencil that picked this up during his time in Europe . The inside flap still has its numbered take down tool but the fastening metal spigot has come adrift. This holster was recently found during a house clearance in Cardiff with its 1916 dated luger, handed into the police, the two magazines found with this lot ive listed below. Nice to find a new to the market and untouched example brought home from WW1 with a little provenance.
