Large Bowie Knife. J.Nowill, Sheffield.

Nice large Bowie knife made by the firm Knowill and Sons. The blade has minimal staining, seems to have been clean to one side. The brass cross guard and pommel are in very nice condition as are the two wooded slab grips. Leather scabbard is supple with tight stitching, top working strap and is marked ''England''. Overall length from pommel to blade tip is 15.5 inches.
