Cased Hindenberg Combatants Honour Cross With Swords, L.NGB.

Scarce boxed award for the Hindenberg cross , not the usual red case as usually seen on the market. The box is in very nice condition with its black ''faux'' type material complete with just minimal storage marks and in need of a brush as this type of material does pick up dust etc. The back hinge is perfect with the front celluloid caped button being a bit stiff. The inside is clean with perfect detail to the script found to the inside lid. The cross itself has nice finish and is maker marked to the firm Christian Lauer Nurnberg . Ribbon seems to have sat in its same position in the box for a number of years.
