English Civil War Armour Plate Section.

Five sections of armour plate that i think would have fitted on the top of the arm under the shoulder plate. All pieces are hand forged with the larger top two sections held together with rivets, the other two are together but held by one rivet and one free section. Not 100% clear how it goes together but im sure its close looking at the photos ive provided. As for period, well the item title states English Civil War, this is a guess on my part but im sure im in the right time frame. I would like the new owner to be satisfied with his own conclusions before purchase. Width of the upper most plate measures around 9 inches across with the complete section from top to bottom measures just over 9 inches. Just as a side not i found this last year during a day trip to my local flee market and was locally found in the Chepstow area.
