Blade i would not rate as in mint condition but its ''close-ish'' with both etched panels having sharp detail and a nice amount of gray background. Just a couple of light surface spots. Tip still has its spear point with the bottom of the blade having its sharp Eickhorn trade mark. Blade still retains its leather buffer. The cross guard has close to all its finish including buffed highlights, pommel has good finish with a certain amount of wear to the top and sides. Fixing button in tight working condition. The celluloide single wire twist handle is in very nice condition with no cracks, chips or splits. The brass lightning bolt scabbard has a couple of minor knocks with plate lifting to the central section and one knock to the bottom ball section. Both side screws are the period examples and are unmolested. An excellent example for sure.
