HJ/DJ, Black Corduroy Breeches, HJ Stiefelhose.

A early textbook example that after regulations stated ''stiefelhose'' had to be black, this brown corduroy set was dyed to fit in with the new regs. The material has some wear from long usage, numerous stains and some fade, all stitching is tight. One area of damage is along the top edge, 1 inch in size and might be from cross strap wear. The bottom legs have all brass grommets with extra side button for the boots. All buttons are present and all are marked HJ/DJ. The inside label can be see but not read due to the dye. Everything is textbook even down to the period dyeing and would look great on display with your HJ or DJ kit. As for size folks this will be an approximation only! Top to bottom.. just under 34 inches, along the waist laid flat....around 17 inches.
