1938 Dated Transitional NSKK Dagger, J.A.Henckels- RZM, M7/10.

Shed found example coming to light in my local area a couple of weeks ago, a 1938 dated transitional dagger by the firm Henckels. The blade has been tipped and has a good amount of staining but the motto and makers details are in nice clear condition, even down to some factory grain to the blade near the bottom cross guard. The handle has a few chips from storage, both top roundel and eagle are in nice clean condition. Bottom cross guard has some plate lifting , top screw is dirty but has not been abused by removing etc. The scabbard is in better condition with close to 90% of its factory finish intact with both nickle fittings very clean with unmolested period screws and bottom roundel dent free. Its a dagger that will need some ''TLC'' and only in need of the top cross guard to finish this example off.
