Welsh Guards Veterans Insignia Group. Grangetown, Cardiff.
Small grouping that belonged to a veteran who served in the Welsh Guards during WW2. There are four titles, all different but the bottom two i would say are worn as a pair, uniform removed. The 6th Armoured patches are mismatched but looking at the matching condition and the remaining thread they do look like the pair he wore on his BD. The ribbon bar shows he was one of the first in North Africa and then went into Italy, the KD stripes would match for both theaters. Found also was the WG cap badge and metal shoulder title , lastly a number of buttons and officers pips? This little group ''came in '' last week with the name given as Mathews who lived at Taff Mead Embankment, Grangetown, Cardiff.
