WW2 RAF Pilots Wings. Attributed- Flt/Lt Peter Powell, Bomber Command.

Purchased this very nice padded pilots wing from a friend who knew and received these wings from Flt/Lt Peter Powell, a friend of his father who also served in Bomber Command during WW2. Apparently Powell was a Londoner who retired and died in the Pontypridd area. The wings are well padded, uniform removed and with plenty of dark patina just as expected from a set worn on his flying uniform.
