WW2 British Home Guard, Auxillary Units, Fighting Knife.

In very nice condition with the blade having minimal staining , no pitting and a very clear Rodgers details underneath a very nice GR under a crown. The bone scale handle grips are very nice with just one minor chip to the bottom of one side panel only. The leather scabbard is its period example , double stamped with the Rodgers details, would appear the top button fastener is a period addition. Ive had a number of these in the past but this GR marked example is only the second ive been able to offer for sale. These examples are usually more substantial in there production with heavier blade and cross guard. A very nice and scarce pattern fighting knife.
Just out of pure interest this knife was found over 30 years back during a local house clearance in the Abergyvenny area with the First pattern FS knife i listed previously, item number 60334.
NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18'S AND UK ONLY!
