Early West German Border Guards Helmet. Q66.

Nice early helmet with the shell being a wartime Quist example painted in a grey finish, 100% complete with minor marks from use and storage.To the inside side is a clear Q66 stamp with the rear having its lot number IN223. The liner system again an early example with supple complete leather and the use of a heavy horse hair padding running along the inside heavy card liner frame not the usual orange foam type. The chinstrap is supple and complete. The liner pins are the type where the arms are peened over.
