In very nice condition with the blade having close to 100% of its period black factory finish. There can be seen very faint stamps to one side under the cross guard and under the paint! Im sure its for the Poole firm and most probably dated 46. Cross guard and pommel again with close to 100% finish, to screw has a ''P'' letter stamp with the pommel end also stamped. Wooden grip has a certain amount of dark patina and some bruising with a scratched number to the flat underside, perhaps a rack number. Scabbard has all its factory finish with some scratches etc, no dents. A very nice example and perfect if looking for a Poole manufactured piece.
