WW2 German Erel M34 ''Square Dip'' Gold Ranked Feuerschutzepolizei Helmet.
The shell has close to 100% of its black finish and free of dents or cracks. At one point the helmet had a tipped decal shield, now scraped off. The top comb has been colored gold denoting a particular rank. Side liner rivets are a type that i believe are screw posts, cannot see inside as the liner frame is a ''double frame'' type hiding the ends. The inside liner system is complete with solid top pad, supple leather liner, double ''Erel'' manufacture stamps, one each side and some over spray from a second coat. The chinstrap is complete and supple with a scarce printed RBNr stamp to the end. Sorry but at the time i could not get a clear photo of numbering. Its a pity about the decal removal as this is a nice Erel manufactured example that are scarce enough!
