Late War M38 Luftschutz Gladiator Helmet.

This particular helmet has at some point gone back to the factory, striped of components and refinished in black with the addition of a very late war fabric liner and vinyl coated fabric chinstrap. The finished helmet received a new decal with inside rear instruction label stamped in white paint. The liner system with card frame has been riveted in place surviving in nice clean condition, all liner pin heads used are without factory paint finish. The overall finish with decal are close to 100% complete. The helmet shouts out late war ''utility'' manufacture.
