Boxed Iron Cross. Non magnetic Core and Frame. Wachtler & Lange?

The Non magnetic inner core has 100% of its period black finish with sharp detail. The two piece frame has nearly all its burnishing to the outer frame with black spotting from patina and a good amount of its factory frosting to the bead outer frame. The back has close to 100% of the silver finish as does the hinge and clasp. The pin is unmarked. Not only is the core non magnetic but also the frame and all hardware! The box is its period example with wear to the top and along the bottom edges. Opening popper in sound working order. The inner top and bottom cushion show age and both are stained from the cross showing its pattern. The bottom cushion pops out revealing a ''D+B'' stamp with number code. Even with no code number stamped to the cross its set-up resembles examples manufactured by the firm Wachtler & Lange, but please do your own research to be satisfied with the maker.
