WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Ring Stamp?

The iron center has 100% of its period black factory finish, one tiny speck of rust to the left arm, hard to see. The two piece frame has some wear but solid with plenty of patina. The ring does appear to have a makers stamp but its pretty deformed and i cannot make it out. Comes with a length of period ribbon.
