Stag Handle Commando, Fairbairn-Sykes Type Dagger/Knife. Robinson.

The blade i would rate in very good condition with minimal staining and a good amount of dried grease, i have not tried to clean but would hesitate to guess that with some warm water the blade would come up a treat. Blade has over 75% of its factory buffing marks and a very sharp and clean Robinson makers details with its ''grinder'' logo, point has not been reshaped! The crossguard is made from aluminium with again a certain amount of verdigris. Stag hilt is complete without any damage. This knife is more interesting than most as the handle is not glued to the tang. The blade tang on this example goes up through the handle and is fixed with a recessed nut like all WW2 manufactured examples. The leather scabbard is in supple condition with tight stitching and a complete top fixing strap, scabbard stamped ''Sheffield, England''. A very nice WW2 or early postwar example.
NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18's AND UK ONLY! PROOF OF AGE WILL BE REQUIRED.
