WW2 German POW Personalised M31 Mess Kit. Russia.
A very nice item kept by a German whilst a POW in a Russian camp at the end of WW2. I would like to say its a souvenir but with the amount of detail etched into the tin with his full name including family and address this soldier did not want his details to go missing. The top is dated 38 with the bottom dated 39.
