British 1941 Pattern KD Shorts.

An interesting pair of KD shorts that have had a few tailoring efforts during there life as seen by the hand sewn turn ups, one leg seam has come adrift im sorry to say but and easy repair. It would seem these where tailored before with the leg sections either shortened or made longer, notice the machine stitch seam above the hand sewn section. With the first aid pocket on the right front and belt loops with buttons these are 41 pattern but i also wonder if these where once a set on ''Bombay bloomers''? Anyway the label has gone but the stitch holes can still be seen and a faded WD stamp to the inside but the date code letter to the top is much too faded to make out. Measures 18 inches across the front and 21 inches from top to bottom.
