Both medals are in nice condition and are new to the market, just purchased from a family member. The medals are named to..3-10478 PTE.E.A.CLARK. NORF.R. Private Edward Albert Clark was a fisherman born at Lowestoft on October 14th, 1876. Clark was posted to the 8th battalion and arrived in France with his regiment in 1915. On the 1st of July his battalion was involved on an assault on German trenches north of Carnoy, he was one of the 102 other ranks killed during the initial attack. Clark is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
