Vintage Sheath Knife. Auxiliary Units.

This type of vintage knife has been described as issued to British Home front auxiliary units at the beginning of the war. This example is in nice used condition with the blade having a film of rust bleed to most, some factory finish showing through and a slight kink to the period bowie point. I cannot see any makers stamps as i have no intentions of digging through the bleed, i will leave this to the new owner. The cross guard is whats expected with these knives being made from a molded metal. Both wooden grip plates are intact without damage. The leather scabbard is complete with its top buckle strap.
