1916 Dated 1907 Pattern Bayonet with 1918 Dated 08 Pattern Frog.

This is one of the best condition sets ive recently been able to add to the site and both appear to have been together for a considerable amount of time. The Sanderson marked blade has close to 100% of its factory finish including its factory cutting edge, partly struck George V crown with a 1916 date to the blued ricasso. The other side has numerous bend test stamps with broad arrow etc. Cross piece, muzzle ring and pommel have 100% blued finish, press stud works perfectly and both wooden grips plates are in very nice condition. Bayonet scabbard, with teardrop frog stud, is supple with tight stitching and faint stamps and is held in a cleanish 1918 dated M.E.co economy 08 pattern frog with removed helve strap, some staining from the bayonet handle rubbing to the front. IMHO this is very nice untouched piece.
