Dinner Gong with Royal Artillery Striker.

Ok so this is an unusual item for sure and came to me this weekend from a friend who does local house clearances in the Cardiff area. When he gave me a shout i must admit i did tell him what in the world would i do with a vintage dinner gong but then he showed me the striker!! Yep the striker was once a RA horse whip that must have been reused by its owner instead of being chucked after damage or lots of use. Nice that it still has most of its Regimental metal tip with RA gun,it has lost its end cap and has lots of dents from striking the gong and of course its missing its whip end. Gong is in very nice condition, still making a nice tone when struck. Do you have everything RA related? bet you dont have one of these and perfect coming out of a local house where it appears to have been used for many years or perhaps used in a local RA Mess!
