WW1 14/15 Royal Scots FusiliersTrio and Home Guard Medal. Gallipoli.
Nice condition trio mounted for wear to a private in the RSF's. Medal details are.... 15058 Pte T.FOTHERINGHAM. R.SC.FUS: This set also comes with a WW2 issued medal in named box to Fotheringham that by all appearance was for Home Guard service, please see the hand written note to the bottom left of the box, entitlement slip inside.Lastly we have part of a leather belt with numerous French military buttons and a RSF brass Glengarry cap badge. Attached to the bottom is a named medallion and a very nice Arabic coin turned into a dog tag with Fotheringhams full details. I have no more information and can only guess that this soldier was part of either 1/4th or 1/5th battalion who landed at Gallipoli and after evacuation moved to France. My assumption is made due to the Arbic coin only folks! Well its a logical guess anyway.
