WW2 K98 Bayonet and WW1 ''Mary'' Tin. Family Purchase.

Purchased both these items yesterday from a ''walk in'' at my local flee market. The bayonet has seen better days as i mentioned to the seller who told me he remembered his Grandfather always using it to break up coal in the back coal shed, his grandfather apparently brought it back from France! The Mary Christmas tin belonged to a great uncle who didnt make it back from serving in France during WW1. Anyway both have seen better days but always nice to find items coming straight from family members. Out of interest i also purchased his grandmothers insignia, badges, medal and photographs, she was a medic in the Russian Army! Now thats an other story!!
