Huge Royal Navy, Petty Officer,1913-1942, Document and Photo Archive.. KIA 1943.

There are way too many documents and photos here folks for me to even contemplate and list here. Ted Percy first ship was the Impregnable , as a boy, in 1913 serving on a number of ships and Naval stations throughout WW1 and then into the 20's and 30's up until 1937 when his Service Cert mentions ''pensioned''. In 1938 he was mobilised once again serving on a number of shore establishments in a training capacity i think as he was by then a Petty Officer and a torpedo technician, his specialist trade during WW1. In 1942 his last entry states he was invalided out whilst on duty at HMS Badger, a well known shore establishment for Subs, MTB's and other torpedo related ships. The last mention of Percy being alive that i can find is a telegram sent to his wife telling her that Percy has taking a turn for the worse and she had better make her way down to the hospital! According to CWGC the date of Percy's actual death is the 29th of November, 1943. I cannot find any information on the actual incident trawling through the net. His medal entitlement up to his death are 1914,15,16 and 17 chevrons, WW1 trio, long service medal awarded in 1930 and the coronation medal, awarded in 1937. I presume he would also be entitled to a set of WW2 medals as well. I cannot list exactly what your getting as mentioned at the beginning but as seen in photos your getting his service record, number of large photos during his marriage, numerous letters from wife during his service, large hardback book Percy completed on his working of the Torpedo etc, various document relating to his service, over 40 photos, two naval ratings collars named to Percy, some bullion insignia, moth damaged or not and lastly his Commemoration scroll on his death thats in good condition with some slight foxing. The last photo with this scroll you can see a lot of condolence letters received by his wife and daughter etc . If i was to say there are no research possibilities here amongst this huge grouping then i would be lying, there is plenty of research to be done for sure. This group must weigh in at over 2 kilos so please be aware of the postage!
