WW2 German Bronze Infantry Assault Badge. E.Ferdinand Wiedmann.

Zinc manufacture badge with over 40% of its bronze finish remaining. The rear has nearly all its finish and a clear Wiedman marking stamp. The bottom catch is a re-attached replacement as this badge with Lilly-pad hinge should have a flat wire example. I find it interesting that the type of replaced catch used can be found on earlier manufactured IAB's produced by Wiedmann.
