WW2 US Combat Knife. Western ''Shark''.
A very nice used condition example with a nice minimal stained blade with clear makers details stamped to one side. The multi leather stacked ring handle has not dried out and tight. This comes with what i believe is its period scabbard, usually produced by local firms and shipped to Western, one area of damage to the top corner. Lots of these knives can be found in period photos worn by navy pilots as a utility knife and known by the term ''shark''. Apparently the Western factory was close by a naval training area where future pilots trained ready to fight in the pacific during WW2. This knife should not be confused with the smaller examples known as the ''Baby Shark''.
NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18'S AND UK ONLY. PROOF OF AGE WILL BE REQUIRED!
