Scarce 1935 Dated Single Band Aluminium M31 Helmet Liner.

Used example with a nice supple complete liner with its early size stamp to the actual leather, size 56, with the outer band stamped 64 so there's your helmet size folks. Leather has toned from use with one 1inch split to the brow area, inside has a large blue ink stamp ''56N''. The aluminium frame is complete but with a number of kinks as seen in the photos with both Square cornered chinstrap bales present. With one side stamped 64 the other side has stamped details to the firm Schuberth- Werk and a 1935 date.The chinstrap was found with the liner and im selling as is as it was on the helmet before having the inside skirt of its period helmet painted black as seen by some diffused paint areas on the frame and some minor color seen on the chinstrap. This black paint will be easy to remove with acetone.
