1939 Dated MK2 Army Helmet with Rough Brown Finish.

A very nice early combat helmet with close to 100% of its period brown rough finish to the outside, no dents or knocks. The inside has its period early 1939 liner with round top pad, its complete and supple. The inside crown area under the liner has an earlier light smooth brown finish, cannot find any markings to the helmet. Comes with its period later war chinstrap. Its my opinion this set has always been together and is un-messed with and its interesting as this helmet must have gone back to the factory to be refinished in that textured color usually found on Para and Armoured lids.
