WW2 Named British Officer's RAMC Service Dress Uniform.

This complete set is made by the military tailors "Dollimore's", both jacket and trousers have matching tailors tags with the cap having the info under the sweat shield. Both jacket and trousers are named to a Lieut. T.H.Donaldson. I cannot find any moth damage to the jacket, one edge to one bellow pocket has some damage, might well be from use and one nip to the fly area of the trousers. The cap has been laid flat from storage but as seen in the photos it " pops" back into shape. It's missing it's chin strap, sweat band and has no moth nips etc. Due to the pattern the person who sold me this rig believed it was WW1 in period, that I can understand, long shoulder straps, cuff pattern, bellowed pockets etc, until you read up that Dollimore's produced high class uniform patterns during WW2 with a main business being uniforms for RAMC officers . All insignia have been removed.
