Two Signed Photos, Cyril Hills, 1930's Black Professional Boxer. RAF.

An interesting couple of photos signed by "Darkie Ellis" his ring name during the 30's. Cyril was born in 1914 in Lancashire becoming a well known black professional boxer starting his boxing career at local fairground booths. He apparently was with the Green Howard's during the Dunkirk evacuation then transferring to the RAF as a physical instructor. Cyril died in 1946 at the age of 31.
