German 6X30 Ordnance Tan Binoculars.
In nice used condition with a very nice amount of its tan finish remaining. No knocks or dents to the body, both eye cups without damage, clear maker and details stamped to one side. Optics are clear, two minor fungus marks to one lens but cannot be seen when using, focus is sharp.
Named Heer ''Walking Out'' Belt and Buckle, OLC.
A very nice set that has the owners name label glue to the inside. The aluminium buckle is maker marked OLC and appears to have had little use, have a look at the pics, i cant fault it. The walking out pattern belt is the type found made from thin leather with a layer to the top, i belive known as ''patent leather'', its in nice condition with no major cracks, even though i found it in a straight state this is pliable and will fit around a uniform, under the thin adjusting tounge can be found the owners name tag. Its size marked 86. This example has it all.
WW2 Iron Cross First Class Screw Back, L59, Alois
A nice well used example with tight frame and a nice amount of period factory paint to the core, frame has nice patina. The rear has at one point had the post resoldered, perhaps over tightening but thats a guess, IMO this is a period repair. The fastening disk is in sound condition and screws in tight. The rear has the L59 code, just make it out and the symbol used by Rettenmaier on his cross from time to time. Still retains its small pin to stop the cross from rotating when worn.
Boxed Iron Cross First Class, MM7, Paul Meybauer.
Cross has a nice used look with around 85% of its factory finish to the iron centre, frame has a certain amount of patina. The rear has an early Meybauer set up thats complete with a clear ''7'' stamped to the pin. The box is unmarked but appears to be the type found by this firm, its complete with good finish to the outside, no knocks or dents, rear hinge and opening button are fine. Inside is clean with just minor wear to the cloth hinge.
German BGS M42 Helmet Shell.
Now here is quite a scarce postwar helmet being a reused wartime M42 helmet shell repurposed for the BGS. Early postwar M42 shells had the liner pin holes welded over, chinstrap bales added to the sides and a new top nut for liner suspension. This example has nearly all its period early rough BGS finish to the outside and its slate grey finish to the inside. The markings have been scratched at the rear of the shell, appears to be CLK but not 100% clear. Its a large shell. This would be a great opportunity to finish off a scarce BGS helmet with the addition of a liner.
