Heer '' Cut Off '' M43 Cap Insignia.
The set is in very nice condition with two different insignia sewn directly to the remains of the cap, this vet decided that he didnt want the cap so he got his knife out and cut around the insignia , the bit he wanted to keep. Its a gorgeous example of the type of items brought home by British troops.
Early Nickle SS Belt Buckle, O&C.
A good example, produced around 1932/34 in nickle silver, face has some wear but the details are still sharp with clear Gothic skript motto along the bottom of the central cirular design. The rear has its period fastening catch and rear fixing prongs. Manufacture stamp to the front near the bar for the firm Overhoff and Cie of Ludenscheid, ges gesch is the type without capital ''G''.
SS Belt Buckle, RZM 55/43 SS.
Steel buckle is in nice condition with some silver wash remaining mainly around the centra motif and the rear. The dtail to the front is still quite sharp with no knocks, buckle body has not suffered from rust bleed. The back as mentioned has most of the silver wash remaining, both catch and fastening prongs are period. The markings can be found running under the back prong area and is quite hard to photograph. A good all round example.
Early Half Size Deutsche Jungvolk Buckle and Drum
Super example of a DJ buckle and hanger that were produced during the early years of the organisation, pre 33 perhaps. The buckle i have not seen myself before and its what i would call the American type with rear clutch for fastening to the belt, buckle has no akers marks but is in nice condition with surface scratches only, the original leather belt is still attached to the back but has lost some of its length and is well secured to the rear cluth, i cannot move the clutch and will leave this to the new owner if they wish to free it. Found with the belt and buckle is a half size drum hanger thats again in very nice condition, last picture is to compare a normal drum hanger size next to this example. A very njice early set.
SS Steel Belt Buckle, RODO.
In nice condition with a fair amount of its period green finish to the front and the majority of its finish to the back, Front detail is sharp, no major knocks just a couple of scratches across the eagle. The rear has both fixing pins intact, good fastening catch and clear makers stamp for the firm Rodo.
Droop Tail Aluminium Buckle and Belt Set, 1937, II
This set has never been messed with or been apart since the end of WW2. The buckle tab and belt are both dated 1937, tab also marked to a flak unit. The aluminium droop tail buckle has seen some use with loss of detail to the eagle only, highest point. Both fixing prongs present as is the dated and maker marked leather tab. The belt again has a matching date and is maker marked but i cannot make out the details, leather is supple but never cleaned. If you like untouched items then this would certainly fit the bill.
German Officers Fire Defence/Feuerwehr Belt, Buckl
Here is a full rig to an officer in the German wartime fire brigade, as seen from the pictures its been untouched for many years. The buckle has a good amount of its period silver finish, both metal belt keepers are in need of a clean, buckle is unmarked. The belt is a good length as is the cross strap, belt is marked to one end. The leather has gone hard but is undamaged and in need of some leather feed to bring it back to supple condition. Again if untouched period items are your thing then this is a good example.
Edelweiss Over Stamped Luftwaffe Belt and Buckle.
A very rare postwar over stamped buckle that apparently were used by the Bavarian Police during the early postwar years. Most examples ive seen are WW2 German Army buckles, this example has made use of a late war steel Luftwaffe buckle, the wing tips can clearly be seen pocking out from behind the edelweiss motiff. Buckle retains over 80% of its original wartime paint, its an unmarked example. The leather belt again an original WW2 example and from the condition i would say these two ave never been apart. These buckles do not turn up very often.
RZM Marked Political Leaders Belt & Crossstrap
Brown leather double open claw political leaders belt, RZM and maker coded, also marked ''Kenstuck'' for high grade leather. Gold washed buckle and crossstrap fittings, crossstrap clips are ''A'' marked for the Assmann firm. I belive this is an example of the 1939 pattern. Condition is V.Good +. THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REDUCED IN PRICE, IT WAS £200.
