Rare Indian Made 37 Pattern Battle Dress.
Condition is very good with just a couple of small moth nips to the body, no staining or repairs. There are two indian stamps to the inside, one looks like a date 1943 or 1942. All button holes are hand stitched and the lining is made of a very rough material. This one is badge to an officer in the R.E.M.E. with arms of service stripes and anti aircraft flash all machine sewn. Pips are Indian made ones. The buttons have been re-done using what looks like canadian examples, i pressume the coconut types being lost, or falling apart. No size markings but would say its a medium to large. Nice example thats survived in very good condition.
D.C.L.I. 1940 Pattern Battle Dress.
Blouse is in very good condition, no moth nips or tracking to the material, the inside label is dated 1943. This officers BD is badged up to the D.C.I.L. with the pre 1944 ''CORNWALL'' printed titles with infantry arms of service stripe. Frome the ribbon bar the vetran did service in Africa and Europe. This example from the perfect condition and pleats to the back must have been his ''walking out'' uniform blouse. A very nice example.
1945 Dated Ammo Boots, ATS.
A pair of war time ammo boots that are dated 1945 and a size 5, condition is very good with supple leather body, one stud missing and still have there original leather laces. Due to the small size id say these would have been for a female member of the military forces, ATS etc.
