WW2 American M1 Front Seam Helmet Shell.
This example has had a good amount of use but still retains over 75% of its original cork finish to the outside and nearly 90% of its finish to the inside. The shell has a good knock to the crown area and a couple of fractures to the body as seen on a lot of well used examples. The original tan chinstrap is in very strong condition with both brass fittings intact and in working condition, on end has some markings stamped to it . The heat stamp to the inside front is strong and clear, looks like 275B. No liner im afraid to say but a perfect display piece.
WW2 American M1 Helmet Shell. Super Condition.
A very nice M1 rear seam swivel bail helmet shell with over 97% of its original olive drab, cork finish. The shell has its heat stamp to the inside front, 1071B. The finish inside is even better than the outside, Both original tan webbed chinstraps are in very good and strong condition, both brass fittings have there original black finish. Im afraid this helmet does not come with a liner, but when you find one to add you will have an outstanding example.
Free French, FFI Armband and Large Photographs.
This small grouping came from the estate of a local Antique dealer recently, he had been collection this type of collectable since the 1970's, the drop leaflets added to this update also came from his estate. The armband is a home made example as you would expect and is in very good condition, made from local material, there are also 5 original large FFI related black and white photos, all anodated in black ink to the rear. The best in my opinion is the FFI march in Paris showing armed male and female members marching behind the FFI flag, one photo i must warn you shows the aftermath of an execution of French patriots, an armed FFI member can be seen in the background. I have decide to sell this lot as a group as they do appear to be related. Condition is very good.
WW2 American Aircrew Photo and Post Card. Named Fl
Nice detailed original postacrd sized photo of an American bomber grew by the side of there Bomber named ''DREAM'', with this came a post card with a flying fortress sent from one of the crew in the photo to his parents, i belive he is the third one right on the bottom.
WW2 U.S. Cap, Service, Enlisted Mans.
Cap is in very good condition with no moth holes or nips to the brown body, liner has minimal service wear, the leather visor has one small mark to the outside right but nothing major, russet chinstrap again in perfect condition. This example also retains the extra leather back strap which i belive would be place around the back nape of the the wearer to secure to the head. These caps were replaced in 1941 by the Garrison cap.
Rare Hitler Youth Treffen 1933 Tinnie
Here we have a very hard to find HJ tinnie for a march that took place in 1933, May day. The front design is super nice with the first pattern HJ members badge to the right hand side. Its in top condition with all its original finish remaining and a good strong original working pin. As a collector of HJ tinnies it took me a number of years to find one of these examples but i have recently picked up a small collection of HJ daybadges. Im selling this example for the same price i paid for mine 4 years ago.
