Very nice group of three mounted WW1 medals with its original ribbon bar. The medals include a super condition Hamburg cross, no damage to the enamel, slight loss of silver finish to the reverse. The iron cross is also in very good condition, slight toneing to the frame, Hindenburg cross is maker marked. A very nice group.

LDO Boxed L55 Screwback Iron Coss 1st Class

LDO Boxed L55 Screwback Iron Coss 1st Class

A really fine example of a boxed screwback iron cross , maker marked L55 and contained in its original LDO box. The condition of both cross and box is Very Good +, I cannot fault this example and it will IMO be very hard to up-grade. The cross still has its original burnished area. The LDO box is a generic issued box as used for screwback awards so the retaining pin on the back of the cross has been pushed thru the velvet area holding the disc.

1925 Pattern RAF Officers Belt Rig

1925 Pattern RAF Officers Belt Rig

Very nice and scarce 1925 pattern RAF officers belt set, included is a 25 pattern 1941 dated holster, ''AM'' marked. The holster has two metal belt fittings to the rear, not the 3 usually found on the 37 pattern. A 1940 dated 25 pattern ammo pouch again ''AM'' marked. The belt is unmarked exept for former owners name, its the 3 part 25 pattern. Lastly is the pair of RAF shoulder strap fittings. Only thing missing is the cross strap to finish off this officers rig. Belt measures at the moment 38 inches with id say another 3 inches left to play with.
