British Lee Metford Bayonet and 1882 Pat Frog.
Nice untouched example of a Victorian Lee Metford bayonet, the bayonet is in very good condition, great blade that has various stampings on the tang, pommel is number stamped 534, wooden handle is in good order but is bruised in a couple of places, no chips. Scabbard has no issues, metal tip has lost its finish, top throat has a number 512 stamped into it, ive decided not to check the metal top of the scabbard for az number as the leather strap on the frog has not been moved in years. This good example bayonet is housed in a very nice and scarce 1882 pattern leather frog that has a London maker stamping to the rear, also has various regiment stampings but i cannot make them out. This type of frog was also used with the 1903 pattern webbing by the British army. Over 18, UK only sale.
Etched Commando Dagger With Ivorine Handle
Quite a scarce commando dagger with an etched blade and what appears to be an Ivorine/melomine handle. The etching has a Kings crown and the blade has a very good tip. The Ivorine hand has one crack to the top were a past owner has tightened the top bolt to far. Aluminium cross guard. The scabbard is what you see, its had a hard life and some additions. Ive been unable to find any refrence to this pattern dagger on the net.
