Early Nickle Hitler Youth Buckle

Early Nickle Hitler Youth Buckle

This was found recently with a couple of American GI bits and bobs in a barn here in the UK. It looks like an early stamped nickle made buckle, i belive a makers mark would be found under the leather and nail to the front but im not going to remove to find out, the rear prongs have rusted through. The buckle itself is in very good condition front and back, its toned to a brown colour but has no dents or dinks, i belive it would polish up to its original finish if wished but i would be inclined to leave as is. A good vet bring back.

Pot Metal Hitler Youth Buckle

Pot Metal Hitler Youth Buckle

One of the best examples ive seen of a injection molded pot metal HJ buckle. RZM [double circle] M4/38 marked near the catch. Slight toneing to the body of the buckle , no damage to the front or rear, the detail to the front eagle and legend is as crisp as day it was made. As mentioned this is a top HJ buckle, Hard ti upgrade.

WW2 German Incendiary Bomb

WW2 German Incendiary Bomb

A good example of a German Incendiary bomb that would have been dropped during the German airforce bombing of British cities during WW2. Its in complete condition, stamped details can still be seen to the alloy body of the bomb even though it has suffered from slight corrosion, i belive this would become even clearer with a slight clean, id say 75% of its original finish remains. The fin is complete and well attatched to the body, colour has gone to time, again will clean up. A good example. Over 18 and UK sales only.
