German Helmet Made Into a Ladle.
Here we have a ladle made postwar from a German helmet, the body of the helmet has been cut down and a rough coat of enamel applied, the helmet airvent can be clearly seen. Condition is very good but a few patches of the enamel has fallen off. I've been told that a free ladle was given out after the war for 10 helmets handed in to the factory, what a pity!!!! As a helmet collector it makes me weep somewhat!!!
HJ Aufmarsch Gebiet13 Tinnie 1934
Day badge for the HJ march in the Hessen-Nassau area held in 1934. The badge is in very good condition with id say 60% of its original silver wash, has the original pin fitted to the back. There are two diffrent coloured badges for this event , this silver example and a gold wash version. Remains of some bluetack on the reverse were this one has been in an album of sorts.
SA Garrison Cap
Unissued condition SA garrison cap, machine stitched green backed political eagle to one side, pebbled button to the front is RZM marked. Inside has a mint lining and has a RZM lable stiched to it. As mentioned this cap is in what i would call unissued condition and would be very hard to upgrade.
Lufftwaffe Single Decal M42 Combat helmet
Single decal Lufftwaffe helmet which has 85% of of its original rough finish coat of paint, the decal has wear but id rate it to be 70% complete. Its maker marked and coded at the rear, size62. The original liner is in very good condition still having its original liner string, all pins are tight and have not been messed with . A good solid example.
Hitler Youth Flak Helpers Cap
HJ Flak helpers cap in very good condition , its been used but has no damage, HJ insignia is machine stitched to the body, stitching does not come thru the inside linning. Its is maker coded to the inside,0/200940004, size marked 57 and dated 44, former HJ owner has stamped his name to the inside linning, GURT DEKER. A good all round example.
