Iron Cross 2nd Class. MM/65, Klein & Quenzer.
The iron center has close to 100% of its mat black factory finish. The two piece frame has taken on a very dark black patina to both sides. Frame has no knocks and beading is sharp. The top ring has a clear stamped number 65. This comes with a good clean length of period ribbon.

WW2 German Black Wound Bade. Brass Manufactured MM/118, August Menze & Sohn.
Scarce brass manufactured wound badge with over 85% of its period black factory finish to the front and close to all its finish to the rear. The period hinge and catch ate fine with the pin having a clear manufactures stamp number 118. Nice to find a brass manufactured badge and even better with so much black paint intact as the brass ones do not hold the finish well. read more

The iron center has close to 100% of its mat factory finish, no cracks or pitting. The two piece brass frame is tight with a nice amount of its period silver wash intact. The beading is sharp but the top section on both side have some knocks. This example comes with its period brass hanging ring but no ribbon. read more

WW2 German U Boat Award. L/56, Funcke and Bruninghaus.
Early zinc manufactured award with sharp detail and some finish remaining. The rear does have its period hardware but the bottom catch has come adrift. I could myself repair it but would not be a satisfactory job imho! This is in need of a good restoration that will do the badge justice. Its my opinion the catch was not secured enough during manufacture as seen by the remains of the fixing sold... read more
