This Fire service helmet is constructed like the Imperial Pickelhaube and dates from the 1920's. The leather body has no dents but the surface finish has suffered from crazing and has lost an area to the left side above the district plate and a minor chip to the back. A large metal HJ badge as found on one of the upgraded sports certificates. The finish is close to 100% complete with the rear having all its fixing prongs. The eagle measures around 4.5 inches from wing tip to wing tip. read more
WW2 German U-Boat Award. GWL.
Zinc manufactured award by the firm ''GWL'' with a good amount of its wash intact. This remaining gold wash has toned down due to the reaction to the zinc base. The front design has sharp detail with no damage. The rear has some finish remaining, its period hardware and a clear ''GWL'' makers stamp. A nice example in clean condition. read more
WW2 Iron Cross 2nd Class. MM13, Gustav Brehmer.
Nice tight three piece cross with a nice amount of period frosting, more seen on the back. The iron core has close to 100% factory finish with the top hanging ring having a clear number 13 stamp for the firm Brehmer. The period ribbon has a certain amount of verdigris from storage.
